Live Workshops and Courses (purchases by individual students)
Cancellations and Refunds Policy
If your circumstances change and you cannot make it to the workshop please contact me (geoffjhyde@gmail.com) as soon as possible.
If you cancel early (7 days or more before the start of the workshop), the workshop fee will be refunded, minus any booking charge.
If you cancel late (between 6 days and the day of the workshop):
- you may nominate someone else to take your place or,
- you have the opportunity to attend another workshop of the same type for up to 12 months after the date of the original workshop.
Live Workshops and Courses: Orders made by Institutions
Cancellations and Refunds Policy
If circumstances change and the institution cannot start a course as planned, the institution will be due to pay 25% of the total course fees. Once a course has started, if a cancellation occurs, the institution will be responsible to pay 50% of the total course fees, or pro rata, if more than 50% of the agreed-upon duration of the course has been used.
Editing services
Editing costs are estimated on the estimated numbers of hours required for the work. The client will be given a quote for the job. If the job is cancelled once a quote has been accepted, then the client is due to pay for the hours already worked, and 20% of the remaining quote amount. We will sign an approved confidentiality agreement if required. The copyright, and all intellectual property rights, of any material shared with Write about Research will remain with the author.
